How we work out what's eligible for cashback

Merchants are given a specific code based on the type of things they sell. This is called a Merchant Category Code (MCC). We don't assign or decide a merchant's MCC – but we use their code to work out whether you can earn cashback on a purchase. Just so you know – sometimes purchases might seem eligible for cashback, but aren't because of their MCC.

1. Make at least 15 payments with your debit or credit card and/or Direct Debits per month and maintain £1,000+ across your savers to qualify to earn cashback the following month.

18+, UK residents. Eligibility applies. Chase current and saver account required.

You'll find more details about your cashback offer in the Chase app – go to the 'Spend' tab, tap 'Rewards' and select your cashback offer.
